FOUR PAWS demands
- A statutory labelling requirement for all fur articles must follow the import ban. The label should indicate details regarding the type of animal, the origins and keeping conditions of the animals so that consumers can avoid these products.
- Within the EU, further import and trading bans for goods produced by measures of cruelty toward animals are necessary. Especially, an import prohibition on seal products is overdue.
- In the long term, FOUR PAWS is fighting for a Europe without any fur farms or fur fashion.
